Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
Welcome to my blog! The title "My High Calling" embodies my Biblical purpose as a child of God, lived out, by glorifying Him, through my sacred roles as a wife, mother, and Keeper at Home. Here, you will read about my life in these roles, along with my thoughts and musings on other kindred subjects.
In my little corner of the internet I hope to encourage others just as I have been encouraged and inspired by other godly women on the blogosphere. I'm grateful to the many faithful Proverbs 31 woman across America who kept an "open door" to their home via their blogs. Through the writings, journals and photos of these Christian families I was able to see Biblical womanhood exemplified and the heart of homeschooling modeled. This was of immeasurable value in our first years of teaching our children at home.
It is with great pleasure that I now open the door of my home to let others partake in the blessings and joys of following my "High Calling." May the Lord bless each one of us as we endeavor to follow His perfect path for our lives.

Hello. My name is Merisa. I am the happy wife of my very best friend and the blessed mother of six children; four here on earth and of two who now abide with the Lord, both after 9.5 & 11 weeks in my womb. I am also a Keeper at Home and a Home School Mamma. I cherish my position as a child of God and seek to live a life that honors Him through my high calling as a wife, mother and Keeper at Home.
My dear children, I dedicate my little space on the web to you. It is one of the many means of showing you what is in my heart. I love you. You are my greatest treasures. I love being your mother. I love being at home with you. I love teaching you and I love following the vision that your Daddy has set before us. With all my love, Mom
